Q4 2020 Android Horror Gaming Trends in Latin America

As the year 2020 came to a close, horror game enthusiasts in Latin America engaged with several spine-chilling titles on Android devices. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers insights into the performance of the top five horror games in this region during the fourth quarter.

Identity V, a game by NetEase Games, saw a rise in downloads from thousands in late September to over 8K in the final week of December. The weekly active users also grew significantly, starting at approximately 94K and reaching over 100K by the year's end. The revenue peaked in early December with over $26K before stabilizing at around $18K.

Dead by Daylight Mobile, from Behaviour Interactive, had a consistent number of downloads throughout the quarter, with a notable increase to nearly 25K in the last week of December. The game's weekly active users showed an upward trend, starting at around 47K and climbing to over 54K in the same period.

Five Nights at Freddy's 2 experienced a fluctuation in downloads but saw a rise in the holiday season, reaching over 2K in the third week of December. The weekly active users for this title, published by Clickteam USA LLC, increased from about 6K to over 8K throughout the quarter.

The original Five Nights at Freddy's also published by Clickteam USA LLC, showed similar trends to its sequel with downloads peaking at over 2K in the week leading up to Christmas. The active user base saw a significant rise from approximately 4K to over 7K by the end of December.

Lastly, Ultimate Custom Night, another title from Clickteam USA LLC, had its downloads more than double from early October to a high of over 3K in late November. Weekly active users showed growth from around 4K to over 8K, ending the year with a strong user base.
